KendalKendal has been our mentor all along our journey - introducing us to many current solutions being used by beekeepers and challenges these solutions have. She brought her bees to show us her hive, and told us some more problems, like the Varroa mites, which kill the beehives from the inside. We also noticed that just within 10 minutes, ants picked up the bees' scent and started wandering around the hive.
She has always been so helpful evaluating our solution and suggesting many improvements. |
Art HallPresident, Santa Clara Bee GuildMr. Hall was extremely kind to help us connecting many beekeepers in part of Santa Clara Beekeepers Guild. He invited or team to guild meeting to demo our product(s).
We collected huge amount of information in these interactions. Some of the beekeepers gave us critical suggestion of not putting fog harvester too close to the hive, since the bees drop feces on way out of hive. So if one hive is sick, it could infest other hives. Without their information, we may have not known that and sold a faulty product. |
